NHS Connecting for Health make all message specifications, including business requirements documents available to HL7 UK Members in the document repository. 

• Latest release of the series 7 Message Implementation Manual
  (version 7.2.02 released 18 April 2008).
• Latest release of the series 6 Message Implementation Manual
  (version 6.3.01 released January 2008).

To download a MIM.

1. Login to the HL7 UK Website.

2. Click on to HL7 UK Repository

3. Expand the Repository tree (see image) 

4. Expand the required MIM document

5. Select the version

6. Download when prompted to "Click here to download this version."

7. Once downloaded view the "readme.txt" file within the zip file for further information.
