HL7 Nomination Committee Call for Candidates

HL7 is actively seeking candidates for the Nomination Committee. This committee oversees the nominations process for Officers and HL7 Directors; collects and validates petitions of nomination from amongst the membership; actively recruits, if necessary, to ensure a viable, balanced slate of candidates; and prepares the slate for ballot.

HL7 is accepting candidates for the 2010 Nominations Committee February 1 – March 3, 2010.

In accordance with Section 10.06 of the Governance and Operations Manual (GOM), the following shall apply:

• A nominee must be a member in good standing with at least 2 years of participation. 
• If there are 5 or more eligible candidates, an election will take place March 15 through April 14, 2010.
