Announcement of Affiliate Director Nomination and Election

HL7 have announced the notice for election of one Affiliate Director to serve on the HL7 Board of Directors. The individual elected to fill this position will join Catherine Chronaki in representing the Affiliates on the HL7 Board of Directors. Michael van Campen has served one term and is eligible for re-election as an Affiliate Director.  Affiliate Chairs, casting one vote per Affiliate, will elect the Affiliate Director.

The nomination and election schedule follows:

• May 1 - June 15 45-day call for nominations
• June 16 - 30 Slate of candidates finalized
• July 1 - 30 30-day election period
• August 7 - 21 2-week run-off election following WGM (if needed)
• September 23 Results announced at the Annual Business Meeting
