Member of HL7 UK Board to Speak at CDISC Conference

As part of a range of HL7 standards harmonization initiatives, Charlie McCay will be providing a tutorial at the CDISC European conference  on 25th April in place of Charles Jaffe. CDISC  develops global standards for the sharing of data relevant to medical research and clinical trials, and works closely with HL7. These standards are crucial to the cost effective and safe development and testing of pharmaceuticals and other medical products and processes.

The tutorial is co-sponsored by HL7.org, and is titled "Harmonizing Standards Initiatives: An Overview of Collaborative Standards Initiatives for Clinical Research and Healthcare"
