HL7 UK Education Committee

Although it does not yet have formal terms of reference, etc., the HL7 UK Education Committee would be expected to report progress to the Board on such topics as whether HL7 UK should:

• sponsor updates to the existing V3 primer or new subject material for other training publications desired by a significant portion of the membership
• sponsor any training in conjunction with its meetings
• establish a mechanism (liaising with the Web Services committee) for posting V3 interpretation questions / resolutions / advice
• liaise more directly with university-level health informatics programmes
• address other education-related initiatives proposed by members
